The February Edit

Beauty, books, TV, rituals & practical favourites that made my month.

Welcome friends,

The monthly Edit is always one of my favourites to write. It’s a mix of recommendations & noticing - the small things that have quietly carried me through the past few weeks. I’ve always loved carefully curated recommendations from people whose taste I trust, & over time this Edit has become my way of sharing the things that genuinely earn a place in my everyday life.

This month I’ve found myself reaching for simple comforts. The steady things. Warm food. Familiar voices in my headphones. Soft, comfortable clothing. Flowers on the kitchen table. A lip balm in every coat pocket.

Grief has a way of sharpening your awareness of what feels soothing & what doesn’t. This month’s Edit reflects that. It’s a round-up of the beauty products, books, TV, clothing, & practical items that have made ordinary days feel a little softer.

My love for tulips is so real that we travelled to Holland for the tulip festival last spring.

Here’s what’s been bringing small, steady satisfaction lately.

In this month’s Edit:

  • the simple food product that’s been genuinely soothing

  • three audiobooks I got through - one I loved, one I liked, & one I’m still undecided about

  • the lip product I keep buying again & again

  • the TV shows I’ve had on every night

  • the clothing steamer that has replaced ironing entirely

  • the flowers lifting the mood, plus simple styling tips

  • the one clothing item I’ve worn on repeat

  • three beauty products (two skincare, one hair) that are quietly doing the most work

A lip balm for every coat pocket.
