My December Favourites

What’s Been Bringing Me Joy This Month

Today’s post is for paid subscribers, but if you’d like a taste of what these monthly favourites look & feel like, last month’s version is still available to listen for free - you can find it here.

Also, a quick note - it was brought to my attention that the 40% off annual subscription link wasn’t working for everyone. I’ve fixed it now, so if you’d like to join us on the paid side (& get the cosy behind the scenes voice note style posts), you can use this link:

Welcome back to Parenting Connected.

Today I’m sharing my December round-up - my favourites, tiny joys, & the things that have been supporting me this month.

Last month I recorded a chatty audio post like this for November, and it was really well received, so I decided, why not make it a monthly ritual?

A small moment to pause, reflect, & notice the good. And with quite a few new paid subscribers joining us recently (hello & welcome!), this felt like a lovely chance to offer the more personal side of this space. My hope is that paid subscribers feel like they’re getting the everyday voice note style conversations I’d share with a friend & offer you something that brings a spark of joy or inspiration into your week.

Inside today’s audio I talk about…

  • the book that inspired me to return to oil pulling

  • what I bought in the Black Friday sales

  • the festive family outing that all of my kids (11, 7 & 2 years) loved.

  • what my alternative Christmas party was this year as a SAHM.

  • cosy comforts - books, foods, TV I've been enjoying

  • my bathroom play hack for a water obsessed toddler

  • how I used a bunch of eucalyptus to hide a hole in my bathroom wall 🤣

  • why I prefer a real tree vs artificial & how we surprised our kids by bringing one home a week early.

Think of it like sitting together with a mug of something warm, catching up the way friends do - no pressure to learn, achieve, or optimise. Just a gentle exhale.
