Journal Club is a monthly space to pause, reflect and reconnect with yourself; each week I’ll guide you through one personal development theme using journalling prompts, playlists and sometimes extras like audio pep talks.

This month, in The Next Chapter, we’ve explored the woman we want to become and intentionally created more of what we want within the lives we already have.

For me, this reflection was inspired by turning 40 next month.

Your catalyst may be completely different.

A new season.

A birthday.

Children growing up.

Returning to work.

Feeling restless.

Or simply the sense that you’re ready to be a little more intentional about the direction you’re travelling.

I created a playlist to help inspire this next chapter & beyond which will remain available here.

Over the last three weeks we’ve released.

We’ve imagined.

We’ve questioned.

We’ve explored identity.

We’ve thought about the woman we want to become and started noticing the stories we’ve been living inside.

This week isn’t about more insight.

It’s about creating a life that supports what we’ve discovered.

Because inspiration fades.

Motivation comes and goes.

But environments, routines and small repeated choices quietly become identity.

This week we stop asking:

What would she do?

And instead ask:

What would make being her easier?

If she values calm — what supports calm?

If she values creativity — what protects time for it?

If she values health — what makes healthy choices easier?

If she values connection — what makes it easier to prioritise relationships?

This isn’t something we’ll do once.

It’s something we revisit.

Practise.

Adjust.

Again and again.

Because the woman you’re becoming isn’t built in one grand moment.

She’s built in ordinary weekdays

The book beside the bed.

The flowers on the table.

The fruit already prepared.

The walk after dinner.

The earlier bedtime.

The boundary held.

The message sent.

The recurring habits that quietly become a life.

This final week is about ensuring the insights from the last month don’t disappear by August.

Journal Prompts

I’ve added photos of my own answers, including extra prompts that came to mind as I wrote. Follow the prompts below for a simplified version, or feel free to add your own prompts as they come to you.
